Money and Insurance

We ask our patients to secure their appointment by paying in full a minimum of 1 week in advance of their appointment. A bit like booking a flight or a concert, this allows us to reserve your time with our highly-skilled clinicians. In certain situations, it may be possible to pay a 50% deposit for longer, higher value appointments. This is at our discretion.
We accept all cards and cash. To make this as convenient as possible, you can pay in person, by phone or by link.
Yes, absolutely! We offer finance options for treatment costs over £750. These can be spread between 2-5 years.

We are pleased to be the best rated Dental Clinic in Ealing that is part of the BUPA Dental Insurance Network. This means that you can get a 10% discount on many of your treatments. (Full details HERE.)

You would simply contact us by phone or email, or book in online as normal. After your appointment, we will issue you with an invoice showing the treatment item and discount if applicable. You can then submit this to BUPA to be reimbursed.

Not a problem at all! Our patients have a variety of insurers including Vitality, Cigna, Denplan and Aviva. You would follow the same procedure: Book in and pay in advance as normal. After your appointment we will provide you with an invoice which you can submit to your Insurer.

Membership Plans

Our monthly membership plans are a great way to spread the cost of the essentials and also to stay in the routine of maintaining good dental health. Prevention is better than cure!

With a number of discounts including 10% on most treatments and £100 off teeth whitening our plans also represent great value for patients who require treatment.

As an added perk, you will also benefit from Worldwide Dental Accident & Emergency Insurance.

We have 3 plans. Adult plans have a joining fee of £154 which covers your new patient examination and a 30-minute hygienist appointment. Children’s plans have a £39 joining fee which covers a children’s new patient examination. The dentist will be able to advise the best plan for you after your new patient examination.

VIPatient: £22/month. 2 routine examinations and 2 30-minute hygienist appointments. Our very thorough examinations including oral cancer screening, small X-rays as needed and a 3D digital scan to make a model of your teeth. This allows us to monitor your teeth over time: our scanner’s timelapse feature means that we can monitor tooth crowding, colour changes, gum recession and wear & tear over time.

VIPatient+: £33/month. As above but with 4 30-minute hygienist appointments to keep your teeth sparkly clean.

Kids: £3/month. Children can join when one or more parents are on our membership plans. 2 routine examinations a year and any necessary small X-rays are included.

Our 3D optical scanner takes thousands of pictures of your teeth and stitches them into an interactive 3D model. This allows us to show you exactly what’s going on in your mouth.

Even better:

• We can use the scanner to produce your Invisalign aligners, crowns, Implants, Whitening trays and much more. This means no more uncomfortable, gooey or messy impressions!

• Additionally, the scanner allows us to monitor your teeth over time: the timelapse feature means that we can monitor tooth crowding, colour changes, gum recession and wear & tear over time.

The use of high-resolution photography means that we can show you exactly what’s going on with your teeth and smile.

Advanced dental hand pieces (drills) mean quieter treatments with less uncomfortable vibration.

Air Polishing that allows us to tidy up any diet stains from those hard to reach areas.

TV screens: on the wall to show you what’s going on and on the ceiling so you can lie back, zone out and catch up with your favourite shows.

Yes absolutely, our underground car park (Q Parks, W5 2UQ) can be accessed off Longfield Avenue and offers reasonable rates. You can also park on nearby residential streets, subject to certain parking restrictions.

Dickens Yard Dental is open to all! We’re on the ground floor with no steps, slopes or bumps. Being fully DDA compliant, our patients can transfer easily from their wheel chairs into our dental chairs. We also have a spacious patient WC.
We ask that you inform us 24 hours prior to your appointment if you need to cancel or change and we’ll be happy to help you with alternative options cancellations within 24 hours will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
Missed appointments are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
